An International Award Winner and Entrepreneur, Mr. Gaurava Yadav was selected by the Economic Times Group (ET NOW) under its series ‘LEADERS of Tomorrow’ for his demonstrated work in the field of School education where he is following his passion of quizzing and developing what he popularly calls the ‘Smartness Quotient’ among school students. Mr. Gaurava, also founded and moderates India’s 1st Knowledge Network of School Leaders titled Indian Principals Network (under the aegis of IPN FOUNDATION) www.ipnfoundation.org which at present is hosting over 12,000+ Schools leaders across India since 2016.
An avid business Quizzer, Gaurava won various national level business quizzes in India, viz Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz-2009 (Runner-Up), Winner- IIT-Kanpur, Winner- IIT-Roorkee, Winner-IMI-Delhi, Winner IIITM, GWALIOR, SIBM, Pune etc. When not working, Gaurava loves to be with his two daughters Priyanshi and Vaani. He loves reading autobiographies and biographies.

An eye surgeon by profession and an explorer at heart, Vipin is all about discovering new cultures across the world. He is making his way through the long list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites around the world, one at a time! When he’s not working or traveling, he cherishes his time playing the piano. He has been an avid quizzer since childhood and a quizmaster as well over the years. His love for History and Geography fuels his passion for travel.
He is a TED Senior Fellow. He has been named among the Top 35 Innovators under 35 years in the World on the the TR35 2012 list by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. He also co-directed the Srujana LVPEI-MITRA Innovation Program with the Camera Culture group from the MIT Media Lab. He is a Chevening Fellow from the St.Cross College, University of Oxford. He is an Australia India Youth Dialogue (AIYD) Fellow from 2023. He has been honored with the UK Achievers Award by the FCDO and NISAU honoring 75 Indians on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of India.

Join the Travernia Quiz Contest today, where kids can embark on their own thrilling quests. Discover the world, learn something new, and maybe even win fantastic prizes along the way. Ready to start your adventure?
Eligibility: The Travernia Quiz Contest is open to individuals of all ages. Participants will be School Kids (Grades 6-12). All participants must register prior to the contest date.
Registration: Participants must complete the registration form online before the elimination contest begins. Registration is free for Little Explorers Edition. Age proof and school details proof will have to be submitted onsite during the elimination rounds.
Contest Date and Venue: The Prelim rounds and Grand Finale quiz will take place at Travernia Fest, HITEX on November 15th, 2024. Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time to check-in and receive the instructions for the Prelims and Grand Finale.
Elimination Sessions: The contest will begin with an elimination session of Prelims Round. Each session will consist of multiple questions to be answered physically on paper. Participants will be eliminated based on incorrect answers, and the 6 top scorers will advance to the Grand Finale.
Final Quiz Round: The final round will be an exciting live competition among the 6 top scorers from the elimination session. Questions will be of increased difficulty and may cover a broad range of travel-related topics.
Scoring and Judging: Points will be awarded for each correct answer. The judges’ decisions are final and binding. In case of a tie, a tiebreaker question will determine the winner.
Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants in the Little Explorers Edition. Prizes include the cash money as described above on the webpage. All finalists will receive a certificate of participation.
Prize Conditions: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. The Winners must share ther bank account details to the organizers. Winners must share their bank account details within 15 days of the contest date. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
Behavior: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Any form of cheating, disruptive behavior, or misconduct will result in immediate disqualification.
Disqualification: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in any form of dishonesty or unfair play.
Liability: The organizers are not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur during the event. Participants enter the contest at their own risk.
Changes to the Contest: The organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the contest at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.
Privacy: Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the purposes of the contest and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
Photography and Media: By participating in the contest, participants consent to the use of their names, photographs, and videos for promotional purposes by the organizers.
Agreement: By registering for the Travernia Quiz Contest, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Non-compliance will result in disqualification.
